My go-to sweets every time I crave especially after lunch and a little boost to power through the rest of the day. My secret energy drink? An iced cacao and cocoa drink.

This chilled chocolate drink not only give me more energy, it also help me to stay focused during my study.

Ingredients:

I've read and watch several reviews about cacao as being named superfood packed with nutrients and antioxidant. The Flavonoids in cacao are plant-based compounds that have many potential health benefits, including reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease, cancer, and other diseases.

What I love about cacao or cocoa is that it can regenerates our stem cells. Of course, my goal is always to look young and fresh. You may watch the video on the link provided.

Chia seeds, on the other hand, are a powerhouse of nutrients, delivering a substantial amount of fiber, protein, and omega-3 fatty acids. Together, these ingredients help to boost energy levels while keeping you satiated, making them an ideal choice for an afternoon pick-me-up or a light dessert.

I also made sure that the cacao I will be using has less content of lead and cadmium these are two heavy metals that is found to be problematic in chocolate. I am super conscious on the food that goes into my gut.

Navitas Organics Cacao Powder is the cacao powder which reached 77% percent of CR’s lead limit and 17% percent of the cadmium limit. Navitas has a third-party test all finished products for heavy metals to ensure low levels, according to the company website. One of the safest cacao powder to drink.

I usually start with a handful of ice cubes because I like my drinks refreshingly cold. Then, I pour in a mix of chilled almond milk and cold water.

Next, I add Navitas Organics Cacao Powder. I’ve tried other brands, but this one has a rich, chocolatey flavor that just feels right. I also add a bit of Cocoa Whittard Powder to enhance that chocolaty depth – a little extra never hurts!

To make it even more nourishing, I mix in a tablespoon of chia seeds. I love the texture they add as they soften, plus they’re packed with fiber and omega-3s, which I know my body appreciates. There you go! Enjoy!
