Hey there,

If you’ve ever struggled with sleep like I have, you know how frustrating it can be. I’ve tried different methods over the years, but I’m always on the lookout for natural ways to improve my sleep quality.

Recently, I stumbled upon grounding (also called earthing), and I thought—why not give it a shot?

After just three days, I started noticing real changes! I’m dreaming again (which hasn’t happened in a while), and instead of my usual 4-5 hours of sleep, I’m finally getting closer to six full hours.

Waking up early and stepping outside barefoot has been a small but meaningful change in my routine. Feeling the sun on my skin, the grass under my feet, and the breeze around me helps me start the day with a sense of calm. It’s a moment to breathe, clear my mind, and just be present. I didn’t realize how much I needed it until I started, but now, it’s something I look forward to every morning.

By the way, I also take Magnesium Glycinate to support my sleep, which has been a great addition to my routine. The brand is Healthy Option since I Live in the Philippines, but you can choose a variety of Magnesium Glycinate here

Now, what is Grounding (Earthing)?

Grounding simply means making direct contact with the earth—whether by walking barefoot, sitting on the grass, or touching natural water sources like lakes or rivers. Studies suggest that grounding puts the body into a healing state.

Our planet naturally generates an energy current known as direct current (DC), which flows through all living things, including humans. Since our bodies are highly conductive, we become part of this natural electrical circuit when we touch the earth.

Benefits of Grounding

Research suggests that grounding may help:

✅ Reduce inflammation

✅ Lower stress and anxiety

✅ Improve sleep and fight fatigue

✅ Support heart health and blood pressure

✅ Relieve pain

✅ Balance cortisol levels (your stress hormone)

Easy Ways to Try Grounding

You don’t need any fancy equipment to start grounding—just try these simple activities:

1️⃣ Walk barefoot on grass, sand, or dirt

2️⃣ Lie down on the grass or beach

3️⃣ Touch water—whether it’s a lake, river, or even a bath

4️⃣ Get your hands in the soil while gardening

5️⃣ If outdoor grounding isn’t possible, consider grounding mats, sheets, or socks (available online)

Why Grounding is Essential

Just like we rely on the sun for Vitamin D, our bodies also benefit from the Earth's natural energy. Unfortunately, modern lifestyles (like always wearing shoes and living indoors) have cut off this connection, potentially leading to "electron deficiency syndrome," which may contribute to various health issues.

By practicing grounding, we restore this lost connection—helping our bodies function the way nature intended.

So, are you ready to give grounding a try? Let’s do this!
